Dr. Paul is a triple Board certified – Child, Adolescent, and Adult psychiatrist. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Integrative and Holistic Medicine. Dr. Paul treats the whole person and provides holistic psychiatric care. He incorporates diet, exercise, supplements, neuroimaging, psychotherapy, as well as psychotropic medications in his treatment plan. He enjoys working with all age groups- individually, as well as couples and families.

Dr. Paul is passionate about teaching and writing. He holds adjunct faculty positions at Emory University School of Medicine; University of Georgia & Georgia Regents University; and University of Central Florida School of Medicine. He is a free-lance writer and runs health columns for two local news magazines in Atlanta. Dr. Paul did his psychiatry residency at the University of Toledo, Ohio, and did his Child and Adolescent psychiatry fellowship at the Emory University, Atlanta. Prior to joining Amen Clinics, he served as a medical director at a psychiatry hospital in central Florida. For all his contributions to the field, Dr. Paul was made a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association in 2016.
