Dr. Jorandby graduated cum laude from Vanderbilt University with a degree in Psychology and Neuroscience. Following her undergraduate degree, she attended medical school at the University of Florida, graduating in 2002. She pursued residency in psychiatry at the University of Florida and was recognized as Intern of the Year her first year and received the Resident Academic Excellence Award three years in a row. She served as Chief Resident in her fourth year.
Following her training, she worked for 7 years as a staff psychiatrist and ultimately mental health supervisor at the Viera, Florida VA Outpatient Clinic. Dr. Jorandby completed an Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship at Yale School of Medicine before assuming a position as Medical Director for the dual diagnosis unit at McLean Hospital in Belmont, Massachusetts. She also served as faculty at Harvard Medical School in the Department of Psychiatry.
Dr. Jorandby is board-certified in General Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is board-certified in Addiction Medicine. She is a fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and a member of the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry.
